Sages Yoga - Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the rules for course cancellations, refunds, deposits, and rescheduling at Sages Yoga School.

At Sages Yoga School, we aim to maintain transparency and fairness in our booking, cancellation, and refund policies. By enrolling in any yoga teacher training course, retreat, or program offered by our school, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation and Refund Policy.

We recommend carefully reviewing this policy before confirming your booking.

1. Course Registration & Booking Deposit

To secure a seat in any of our yoga teacher training courses or retreats, students must pay a registration deposit ranging from $200 – $500 USD, depending on the selected course.

  • The remaining course balance must be paid upon arrival at the school.
  • The registration deposit is used to reserve your seat and manage course planning.
  • The deposit is non-refundable.

2. Cancellation Before Course Start Date

If you are unable to attend the scheduled training, the registration deposit will not be refunded. However, under special circumstances or emergencies, students may request to transfer their booking to another available course date.

  • Course transfers are subject to seat availability.
  • The transfer request must be communicated to us as early as possible.
  • The transferred course must be attended within 12 months of the original booking date.

3. Cancellation After the Course Has Started

If a student decides to leave the course after the training has begun due to personal reasons, environmental factors, or other circumstances:

  • No refunds will be issued.
  • The student will not be eligible to receive a course certificate.
  • The student will not be eligible to transfer the course to another date.

4. Course Rescheduling

Students may request to reschedule their course to a future training batch if they are unable to attend the originally scheduled course.

  • No additional registration fee will be required for rescheduling.
  • Rescheduling must be done within 12 months of the original registration date.
  • All rescheduling requests are subject to availability.

5. If Full Course Fee Is Paid in Advance

If a student has paid the full course fee in advance and wishes to change the training date:

  • The request must be made at least 7 days before the course start date.
  • The payment may be transferred to another available course date.
  • Students must confirm the availability of the new training dates with the school.

6. General Cancellation Policy

If a student cancels their course registration:

  • The advance deposit is non-refundable.
  • The deposit may be applied toward another course within 12 months of the original booking date.

7. Course Cancellation by Sages Yoga School

In rare cases, Sages Yoga School may cancel or reschedule a course due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural events, operational challenges, or other unforeseen situations.

  • Students will be offered the option to join another available training session.
  • The course fee may be transferred to the next available batch.
  • Refunds for deposits or course fees will generally not be provided.

8. Student Misconduct or Policy Violation

Sages Yoga School reserves the right to refuse admission or cancel a student's participation without refund if the student engages in:

  • Unlawful activity
  • Serious misconduct
  • Violation of school policies
  • Behavior that disrupts the training environment

Such decisions may apply to activities occurring both on and off the school premises.
